A film, by local filmmaker Larry Ruiz highlighting leading archaeologists, scientists, artists, and authors, (including award winning author Craig Childs) who share their knowledge and thoughts on the mammoths and ancient peoples that roamed North America tens of thousands of years ago.

Craig Childs will present Following the Dead: A Journey Through Layers of History in a Storied Land. A presentation following the Ruiz film, leading us back to the Ice Age through video footage, live music and spoken word -- a powerful, thought provoking performance that will challenge peoples' notion of time in the context of their lives.
