About Ingrid Peschke: Ingrid Peschke grew up in Mill Valley, California, where she attended Sunday School. She is a Principia College graduate, where she met her husband, who is from Germany. She says her prayer about relationships and study of Christian Science were instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for their marriage. She and her husband have three children, a son in college and a daughter and son in high school. Ingrid began her career as a teacher in the Texas public school system and later became a stay-at-home mom. She has worked for The Mother Church since 2003 when she moved with her family from The Woodlands, Texas, to Boston to work as an editor for the Church’s online publishing activities. A year later she became a Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner. In the twelve years she has worked for the Church, she has served as a staff editor for The Christian Science Journal and Sentinel as well as managing editor of the Sentinel and JSH website. She was appointed to be the Massachusetts Committee on Publication in March 2012. She is a regular writer for outlets such as The Huffington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, and MetroWest Daily News writing about the connection between spirituality and health from her perspective as a Christian Scientist.
