Don’t throw those Halloween pumpkins away just yet! In partnership with the City of Durango, CSU Extension and Healthy Community Food Systems, Bear Smart Durango will provide a free pumpkin drop-off on Mon. Nov. 9 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Santa Rita Park. Pumpkins, just like tree fruit, can act as an attractant for bears and other wildlife.
