INSTRUMENT DISCOVERY DAY - Session 2

In collaboration with Fort Lewis College, Katzin Music and Durango High School students, Music in the Mountains is proud to host this special free event that allows students to try out various brass, string, woodwind and percussion instruments. Students and parents hear a short demonstration of the instruments, then receive mini private lessons on each instrument.

The objective is to encourage students to select an instrument they would like to play in the sixth grade; this decision often has a significant effect on a child's musical development.
