Sustaining or Regenerating Our Agricultural Lands? Principals, Practices, and Complementary Methods in Regenerative Agriculture
In this pre-conference workshop, we will explore the evolving conceptual framework of “regenerative†practices on our agricultural lands. While sustainable describes a state of homeostasis preventing further deterioration, degradation, and depletion of our soils, food quality, and ecosystems; regenerative practices increase resiliency in the face of climate change, drought, and plummeting biodiversity.
Hands on, experiential learning will guide our discussions, with the objective of creating a unique farm design and management plan, using holistic management, permaculture and biodynamic methodologies together as a whole.
Instructors Kris Holstrom and Patricia Frazier are experienced Permaculture Designers and advanced teachers. “Permadynamics†is their unique approach to Permaculture Design, weaving Biodynamic Agriculture and Holistic Management Principals into a unified whole.
