Plein air painter Sharon Abshagen will guide the aspiring painter through the ‘nuts and bolts’ process of creating a painting, helping each student to paint the world they see through their own eyes. If weather permits, the third day of the workshop will be spent outdoors painting en plein air. Offering individualized instruction during the three-day workshop, Abshagen will assist each participant with improving technique, taking a painting to the next level, and learning the art of self-critique.
