AHS Online Information Session for Prospective Families

Considering AHS for January 2021 or the 2021-22 school year?   In an effort to keep our campus and community safe and healthy, our enrollment events will look different than in years past. As soon as it is safe to do, we look forward to welcoming you to campus and meeting you in person. In place of the traditional visits, we are creating several virtual opportunities to help families learn more about our school.   Join us via Google Meet at meet.google.com/hvd-opvy-cua for an AHS Online Information Session, where you will have the opportunity to learn more from current students, teachers, families and staff about how we prepare all students for college and postsecondary success by creating critical thinkers and engaged citizens through an innovative, student-centered, project-based curriculum.   Enrollment is open for second semester through December 18 and enrollment for fall 2021 opens on January 4, with a lottery in early March if interest exceeds available spots in any grade level. We have limited spots available in 9th, 10th and 11th grade.   For more information about enrollment, or to complete your Intent to Enroll form, visit http://animashighschool.com/how-to-enroll/ or contact our assistant head of school at libby.cowles@animashighschool.com.   We look forward to meeting you!

Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them
7:00pm / Fort Lewis College Theatre
The 2020-2021 season at Fort Lewis College Theatre is going to be an exciting one! The Fall production of 'Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them', by A. Rey Pamatmat, will be streamed online!    The premiere is Friday, Nov. 27th starting at 7pm.    Go to the FLC Theatre website for more information, fortlewis.edu/theatre.   The FLC Theatre’s theme this year is diversity and inclusion, and Edith exemplifies those qualities to a tee. Three kids - Kenny, his sister Edith, and their friend Benji - are all but abandoned on a farm in remote Middle America. With little adult supervision, they feed and care for each other, making up the rules as they go. But when Kenny's and Benji's relationship becomes more than friendship, and Edith shoots something she really shouldn't shoot, the formerly indifferent outside world comes barging in whether they want it to or not.   In these times of stress and isolation, FLC Theatre hopes to bring you stories of hope, belonging and understanding. Help support Fort Lewis College Theatre in these trying times! For more information, go to www.fortlewis.edu/theatre or contact FLC Theatre at 970-247-7089.

Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them
12:00am / Fort Lewis College Theatre
The 2020-2021 season at Fort Lewis College Theatre is going to be an exciting one! The Fall production of 'Edith Can Shoot Things And Hit Them', by A. Rey Pamatmat, will be streamed online!    The premiere is Friday, Nov. 27th starting at 7pm.    Go to the FLC Theatre website for more information, fortlewis.edu/theatre.   The FLC Theatre’s theme this year is diversity and inclusion, and Edith exemplifies those qualities to a tee. Three kids - Kenny, his sister Edith, and their friend Benji - are all but abandoned on a farm in remotest Middle America.
