Mountain Middle School Fundraiser - 'TRUST ME', a documentary
8:00am / Virtual
Mountain middle school is featured in an unreleased 90 minute documentary, "TRUST ME.” "TRUST ME" is a 90 minute documentary that explores how a lack of media literacy is causing physical, emotional and political problems.   Join us for a virtual screening of the film between October 16-31 before the global release. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be given to the school for an upcoming building expansion! The rest will be shared with the Getting Better Foundation to raise awareness of and support legislation regarding media literacy.    Tickets are $20

Kaiut Yoga is a biomechanical (freedom of movement) approach that works to achieve optimal functionality and mobility that is lost from over use or underuse of our bodies. The method works from the joints rather than stretching ourselves in extraordinary ways.    Simple and accessible poses that achieve profound results.   Come join us as we have reopened and will be offering classes on Mondays, Wednesday’s, Fridays and Saturdays.   Visit for info and schedule of classes.
The West Goes Pop Exhibition
10:00am / Sorrel Sky Gallery

CANCELLED Children's Halloween
4:00pm / Downtown Durango
No goblins and ghosts in Downtown this year: We held out as long as we could in planning, as we were hoping for a change, but the BID has cancelled the Children’s Halloween event in Downtown Durango this year. BOOOOOOO. But it’s safety first, and given that this popular event has no social distancing (and Halloween masks don’t rise to the prevention standard), we’ll postpone to next year.    BUT, as of now we’re still planning to do Singing With Santa and light the Holiday Tree in Buckley Park! Stay tuned for how we tweak that event in this age of COVID.
