The Durango Flea Market is an open-air market open to the public every Sunday from the first weekend of May through the first weekend of November.    We are only closed during Memorial Day weekend and the second Sunday in August during the La Plata County Fair.    We are conveniently located on North Main Avenue in the La Plata County Fairgrounds parking lot. Plenty of free parking for shoppers! You'll find great deals on just about everything under the sun: antiques, housewares, clothing & jewelry, toys, sporting goods, food and who knows what else!

We’ve been in continuous operation running train excursions on this 45-mile spur of the Denver & Rio Grande rail line since 1882. Much of the scenery remains unchanged since then. There’s no cell service or Wi-Fi through much of the terrain so you’ll be unplugged from the modern world. Soak in the views, listen as the steam whistle echoes through the canyon, hear the vintage locomotive work to pull the train up the grades. VFW Post 4031 invites you to come enjoy some delicious food with your loved ones, local veterans, neighbors and more! Brunch will be served from 9 AM to 1 PM. Donations of only $10 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under. All proceeds help support local veterans! Brunch menu offers something for everyone with cheesy scrambled eggs, eggs to order, & omelettes, hash browns, bacon, sausage links, biscuits & gravy, top round, waffles, green beans, mac & cheese, corn on the cobb, fresh fruit and more.
