No experience is necessary, but volunteers must be at least intermediate skiers or snowboarders. Volunteers also earn discounted skiing at Purgatory and college credit through arranged internships. Orientations are November 13th and 14th (choose 1) at the Durango Rec Center. Returning volunteers meet 6-7 PM. New volunteers meet 7-8 PM. Call 970-259-0374 or visit asadurango.com for more information. ASA’s programs enrich and transform the lives of people with disabilities through sports and recreation.
