Come experience the world of coffee. The public is invited to join ACC staff and the staff of Desert Sun Coffee Roasters for regular cuppings of DSCR coffees. Each cupping will focus on different profiles and roasts served at ACC.

The Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College will host a free presentation from Aurum Labs, “Fort Lewis College Alumni Talk Cannabis Science” on Wednesday, November 6th at 5:30 pm in the Center’s Lyceum Room #120. Aurum Labs, formed in 2014 by two Fort Lewis College alums, was one of the first fully certified analytical cannabis testing labs in the state. Born out of a desire to legitimize the industry and make products safe for consumers thru good cannabis science, the lab continues to grow and currently employs twenty people, nine of which are Fort Lewis College graduates. The Center of Southwest Studies, now in its fifty-fifth year, provides an active program of free public lectures and events year-round at its museum, research library, and archives facility on the campus of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
