Cardio/Strength Interval Class
9:00am / Edgemont Highlands Community Lodge
A different workout every time, this energizing class consists of aerobic intervals to improve cardiovascular endurance combined with strength training intervals, core and balance work. Equipment provided, please bring a yoga mat for floor exercises. Your instructor is Durango personal trainer Lynn Beck. Class is open to all-1st class free! Multi class discount punch cards available.
Open Shop Day
10:00am / Four Corners Gem & Mineral Club
The shop is a creative environment where other lapidary and jewelry artists generously share their knowledge, experience, techniques, and ideas. It is advisable to bring your own materials and hand tools if you have them. The Club offers an excellent variety of motorized tools, hand tools, and even some rough stone you may use to hone new skills.    Drop-ins and new members welcome. Experience is not necessary, however it is strongly recommended that new members attend a Shop Orientation that is held at 9:00 on the first Saturday of every month.    Anyone is welcome to join the Four Corners Gem & Mineral Club! Annual Membership fees are $30 per year for individuals and $45 per year for families (covers one or two adults and any children under 18 living in the same household)

2020 Literary Festival: A Night With Lisa See

The keynote event of our 2020 Literary Festival featuring best selling author Lisa See!    Reception - 5:30 p.m.  The festivities start with a beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres reception catered by Wagon Wheel and DuranGormet.   Author Presentation - 7:00 p.m.  Lisa's presentation will be followed by a book sale and signing sponsored by Maria's Bookshop.   This event is free and open to all.

Croce Plays Croce

The son of legendary singer/songwriter Jim Croce, A.J. Croce returns to the stage with a new show featuring a complete set of classics by his father including the timeless songs, “Operator,” “Don’t Mess Around with Jim,” “Time in a Bottle,” and more. A.J. Croce, an accomplished performer in his own right, strikes a fine balance between paying heartfelt homage to his father’s artistic legacy and injecting the songs with his own spin and personality. The anecdotes A.J. shares about his father’s songs, like the songs themselves, are all the more touching coming from the son who has grown to become every bit his dad’s artistic equal.
