Local Author Showcase

Join us for an exciting event to celebrate (and perhaps discover) local authors from La Plata County!   Participants will get to enjoy wine, beer, and appetizers while authors rotate amongst tables talking about their works and themselves in speed-dating-style cocktail hour. If you're lucky enough to find a great match, then you can leave with a new book or two for yourself and a loved one! Maria's Bookshop will be on hand coordinating book sales.   This is a ticketed event ($10). Tickets go on sale at the Library's front desk and at the Friend of the Library Bookstore starting March 4th, while supplies last.   Arrive early to grab a table and a drink!
