We have forty volunteer chapters, or "Broadbands," located in 17 states that are focused on education, advocacy, outreach, and collaborative stewardship projects. Our national staff are all based in Durango where we are thrilled to support a vibrant local Broadband chapter--the South San Juan Broads--currently working on Bighorn Sheep and Pika monitoring, cross cut saw trainings, stewardship, Animas River education, and more. As a women-led organization, we bring knowledge, leadership, and humor to the conservation movement to protect our last wild places on earth. We are continuing to grow, and we're currently hiring! For more information or to contact us, please visit our website www.greatoldbroads.org.   On February 27th KRMU, Rocky Mountain PBS's Durango station, will be hosting green drinks in order to talk about RMPBS's programming for Water Week. The Colorado Experience episode Western Water - and Power premiers on air the 27th on RMPBS. All throughout this week Engagement Specialists all over the state will be hosting social events to bring people together in the same room who would like to learn more about water issues around the state. Debbie Higgs will talk about Durango's 28th event at the Powerhouse Science Center co-hosted by the Four Corners Water Resource Center at Fort Lewis College, as well as other water & nature-related programming from RMPBS, and provide an opportunity for Green Drinks-goers to participate in a Rocky Mountain PBS's Water Week Statewide Survey - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/rmpbswatersurvey?
