Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe
7:30pm / Fort Lewis College Mainstage
To celebrate the end of the Halloween season, FLC Musical Theatre will present the Off-Broadway hit, Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe. Nevermore follows the struggles of one of America's most famous poets and authors as he faces abandonment, addiction, poverty, and significant loss, all of which contribute to the composing of some of American literature's greatest works. The book, lyrics, and music for Nevermore are by Jonathan Christenson, who harkens to numerous Poe works, including the iconic poem "The Raven." The theatricality and wide variety of musical styles teamed with the storytelling through metered verse and movement will be an experience you will not soon forget.
