La Plata County Fair

The 2021 La Plata County Fair is slated to be held August 11-15 at the La Plata County Fair Fairgrounds. The five days of fun will feature entertainment for the whole family including displays, animals, exhibits, the livestock auction, the 4-H Community BBQ, dancing, food and more.   Legendary singer, songwriter, Grammy award winner and western historian Michael Martin Murphey will headline this year's La Plata County's "Friday at the Fair" on August 13th.    He will take the stage at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena at 8:00, rain or shine. Bayfield native and country western singer, songwriter Tyller Gummersall kicks off the show at 7:15. Gates will open at 5:30. Reserved seating $45 and General Admission $25 (plus ticketing fees).    Tickets for this exceptional evening are on sale at www.durangoconcerts.com This year's event will mark the 4th Fair Concert in 5 years. Scenic Round Trip Silverton Train

Camp Creative (Kids Summer Art Camp) Session 3

School is almost out for the summer and Dancing Spirit is excited to be gearing up for Camp Creative!   What: A week long, in-person Art Camp with daily games, activities, arts & crafts and of course, a lunch break to visit with friends.   Cost: $120 per session (If you sign up for all three sessions, total cost will only be $300. Payment due on/before the first class)   Other Information: Each student needs to bring a water bottle and a sack lunch each day.
