We’ve been in continuous operation running train excursions on this 45-mile spur of the Denver & Rio Grande rail line since 1882. Much of the scenery remains unchanged since then. There’s no cell service or Wi-Fi through much of the terrain so you’ll be unplugged from the modern world. Soak in the views, listen as the steam whistle echoes through the canyon, hear the vintage locomotive work to pull the train up the grades. If you long to unwind and enjoy Colorado nature at its finest, this is the trip for you.

Ghost Story (Play Reading)
7:30pm / Festival Tent at the Smiley Building
Starring Brian Lee Franklin (Godless, Free State of Jones) and director by actor Tom Wright (Ray Donovan).   When Lydia meets a guy at a bar and brings him back to her new apartment for what she thinks is a one-night stand, things keep getting in the way. Like they could hardly be more different - she's forty, he's twenty-eight; she's black, he's white; she's a New Yorker and he's from the Midwest. And the fact that he's actually hoping for something more. And the fact that her new apartment might very well be haunted. A play about ghosts - both literal and metaphorical - and the ways we try to move forward.
