We’ve been in continuous operation running train excursions on this 45-mile spur of the Denver & Rio Grande rail line since 1882. Much of the scenery remains unchanged since then. Durango Fire Protection District will be having a fire training facility dedication and open house!   Come meet your firefighters, see demonstrations, tour the trucks and free food!

The main event!  This year we are excited to announce that we will be going back to hosting one large festival-style event! Each Buckley Park iAM MUSIC Fest concert will feature four musical acts with the Secret Circus Societ performing in between each set throughout the night.   [J-Calvin]  J-Calvin is a soul-funk-groove band from Durango, Colorado. On New Year's Eve 2017, the five members of J-Calvin brought their unique and varied musical backgrounds together for the first time. The welcoming and lively atmosphere she delivers to each show she plays brings a similar vibe as the artist Brett Dennen whereas her paradisiac sound reminds you of the esteemed Sara Watkins. Open Nightly Memorial Day Weekend thru late September, The Bar D Chuckwagon Suppers in Durango, Colorado offers family entertainment with a stage show and barbecue or steak supper. After supper, The Bar D Wranglers perform their famous old west music stage show with cowboy songs, comedy, and lively instruments. The Bar D Chuckwagon Suppers is a major attraction in Durango, Colorado and a "must do"activity for family entertainment. The restaurant, stage show, shops, train, and activities are set in an old west cowboy village under the red cliffs North of Durango, Colorado.

The cost is $10 per person with or without skate rentals. Public skating will be limited to Disco Night at this time.    Reservations are not required.
