We’ve been in continuous operation running train excursions on this 45-mile spur of the Denver & Rio Grande rail line since 1882. Much of the scenery remains unchanged since then. There’s no cell service or Wi-Fi through much of the terrain so you’ll be unplugged from the modern world. Soak in the views, listen as the steam whistle echoes through the canyon, hear the vintage locomotive work to pull the train up the grades. Open Nightly Memorial Day Weekend thru late September , The Bar D Chuckwagon Suppers in Durango, Colorado offers family entertainment with a stage show and barbecue or steak supper. After supper, The Bar D Wranglers perform their famous old west music stage show with cowboy songs, comedy, and lively instruments. The Bar D Chuckwagon Suppers is a major attraction in Durango, Colorado and a "must do"activity for family entertainment. The restaurant, stage show, shops, train, and activities are set in an old west cowboy village under the red cliffs North of Durango, Colorado.

The cost is $10 per person with or without skate rentals. Public skating will be limited to Disco Night at this time.    Reservations are not required.

Alpine Bank Presents Duke Street Kings - Denver's Garage Band Kings   The Duke Street Kings are Denver's longest-running garage band, having knocked around the badlands of Denver's Front Range for 40 years. For the final time this summer, Devise and Conquer Improv is proud to announce our third performance: 3 on a Match. After opening for Durango PlayFest and selling out its prior two shows, the group invites you back to the DAC for our summer finale.    Get tix early! $12 per ticket!   Doors at 7:00, Show at 7:30 PM. Run-time aprox. 1 hour 20 minutes (with a 15 minute intermission)   Durango's only improv group, consisting of six veteran improv artists with experience performing across Colorado and beyond, including at the Second City, UCB, the Voodoo Theater, Bovine Metropolis Theater, and Durango Dot Comedy. The group specializes in "long form" improv, where audience suggestions become 20-minute scenes, with characters and relationships formed on the spot. Performers collaborate in real-time to bring you laughter from unchartered territory.
