First Friday Pop Up

First Friday Pop Up at Bucks Parlor. Swing in any first Friday of the month to see local artist and buy some cool vintage! Friday April 1st we will have three makers in the shop. Old West Cowboy Music Show and Chuckwagon Supper. Durango's favorite family entertainment since 1969. Bar D Wranglers perform in concert after supper with music and songs of old west cowboys, comedy, and lively instrumentals. The show is fun for the whole family.    Activities, shops, and ticketing open at 4:30. Supper is at 6:30. Open Memorial Day Weekend through September - Rain or Shine ! Reservations are required.
First Friday Art Show

Create Art and Tea is now hosting First Friday. First Friday is an effort to bring art and charitable foundations together. On the First Friday of every month, Create Art and Tea will host an art opening featuring new artists.    Featured artists will choose a charity to support. A portion of the proceeds made from purchased art will go to the organization of choice. On opening night, you can expect light refreshments, live musical performances, the opportunity to meet the artists, and hear about the charitable organizations. The works for sale will remain in the loft area of the gallery for the remaining duration of each month.   Times may vary. Movies in the Park Series - The Sandlot

City of Durango and Credit Union of Colorado present Movies in the Park! The movies in the park series if free to the community thanks to local sponsors. Come enjoy watching family-friendly movies on a 20' movie screen!   Bring blankets, chairs, family and friends and enjoy a movie together. Prior to the movie, enjoy live music, local youth talent and hands-on activities. Arrive in time for the T-Shirt cannon and prize giveaways!   Popcorn and beverages are available for purchase. Activities begin at 7:00pm movies will begin 15 minutes after sunset!
Much Ado About Nothing

Outdoor Shakespeare is back! Durango Theatreworks at Fort Lewis College presents Shakespeare Under the Stars with the endearing Much Ado About Nothing. The production is directed by award-winning director Robert Faires of Austin, TX, and features a talented cast of seven actors who will play all of the central characters. Much Ado will play outside in FLC's beautiful Busby Amphitheatre. Come join us as we continue the tradition.
