Hotline Advocate Training
8:00am / Alternative Horizons
Volunteers Needed   Alternative Horizons supports and empowers survivors of domestic violence. AH is currently looking for advocates to staff our 24-Hour hotline, including those who are bi-lingual. Alternative Horizons needs 15 or more ongoing advocate to staff our hotline. This position only requires that you be able to take calls in a quiet, confidential safe place. Join us for a free, comprehensive training, July 11th through 14th. Please call the office for more information 970-247-4374. Community Concerts Series - Nuages du Desert Jazz & Swing

The Community Foundation Supporting Southwest Colorado is proud to present the 2022 Community Concerts! Come on out this summer to Durango's Rochester Hotel for some fantastic music and fun times, and support local non-profit environmental organizations!   The series kicks off on July 13 with the cafe jazz and swing sounds of Nuages du Desert Jazz & Swing to benefit the San Juan Mountains Association to promote the exploration and protection of public lands in southwest Colorado through stewardship and conservation education. Tickets for each event are $10 at the door on the day of the event, or you can purchase a discounted online punch pass for $50. The punch pass is valid for six punches—you may use one punch each week, or all six punches in one week—or any combination in between! Online punch passes are only available through July 10.
