Volunteers Needed   Alternative Horizons supports and empowers survivors of domestic violence. AH is currently looking for advocates to staff our 24-Hour hotline, including those who are bi-lingual. Alternative Horizons needs 15 or more ongoing advocate to staff our hotline. This position only requires that you be able to take calls in a quiet, confidential safe place. Brendan Shafer is an American Roots musician focusing on the repertoire of old time string bands and other related styles. He has won awards for his clawhammer banjo playing and old time fiddling. Brendan is also a student of Bluegrass, ragtime, and traditional jazz music.

Join SJMA and educators from Canyon of the Ancients National Monument for a hike through the moon-lit Sand Canyon while learning about the moon impacts wildlife and humans alike. From sunset to moonrise, hikers will visit several of the ruins and discover the wildlife that still makes this special place home. What a treat in a day-use only area! Hike is moderate, up to 5 miles.
