Mala Bead Necklace
9:30am / La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center
In this 3-hour class you will make a 108 bead Mala necklace using an assortment of natural polished stone and wood beads. You will learn an essential tying technique that protects the strand from breakage (the same technique is used with pearls). You will also learn about the spiritual practice of this necklace. Beads are provided, but you may bring a strand you buy at the Gem Show if you prefer.

68th Annual Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show
10:00am / La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center
The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club will host our 68th Annual Gem and Mineral Show! Over 60 vendors will offer gems, minerals, jewelry, fossils and more! Kids activities, classes and field trips available.
Food trucks on site. $3 daily admission at the door, children under 12 admitted free with adult.

Make a Cabochon
1:30pm / Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club
In this 2.5-hour class you will slab, trim and polish rough stone into cabochons ready to set into jewelry and learn the safe operation of lapidary equipment. Slabs are provided but feel free to bring a slab of your own. Sign up for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday session.
Bar D Chuckwagon Suppers

Old West Cowboy Music Show and Chuckwagon Supper. Durango's favorite family entertainment since 1969. Bar D Wranglers perform in concert after supper with music and songs of old west cowboys, comedy, and lively instrumentals. The show is fun for the whole family.
Activities, shops, and ticketing open at 4:30. Supper is at 6:30. Open Memorial Day Weekend through September - Rain or Shine ! Reservations are required.
Much Ado About Nothing
7:30pm / Busby Amphitheatre
Outdoor Shakespeare is back! Durango Theatreworks at Fort Lewis College presents Shakespeare Under the Stars with the endearing Much Ado About Nothing. The production is directed by award-winning director Robert Faires of Austin, TX, and features a talented cast of seven actors who will play all of the central characters. Much Ado will play outside in FLC's beautiful Busby Amphitheatre. Come join us as we continue the tradition.
